This week Mineral County Sheriff's Office released information that on February 26, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., residents of Scotty’s RV Park (1006 6th Street) were awakened by an intruder entering their RV. The resident alerted the RV Park manager, and while searching the property, they encountered the suspect, who then brandished a handgun and fired at them.
Both individuals escaped and secured themselves in an on-site restroom, where they contacted 911. Mineral County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded and located a suspect matching the description in the 600 block of I Street.
