In a rare opportunity for rural Nevada organizations, a well-known Reno-based marketing firm is offering up to $125,000 in pro-bono services to mission-driven groups across the state—including those in small towns and underserved communities.

The Abbi Agency, a certified B Corporation with a strong track record in community impact, has opened applications for its 2025 “Do Good Stuff” initiative. The deadline to apply is April 4.

While many marketing grants tend to go to urban-based nonprofits, The Abbi Agency is intentionally opening this opportunity to all corners of Nevada. That means rural schools, food banks, volunteer-run community programs, and small but mighty nonprofits now have a shot at professional-level marketing support—completely free of charge.

“Since starting The Abbi Agency, it’s always been part of our mission to leave communities better than we found them,” said CEO and co-founder Abbi Whitaker. “We know there are incredible programs doing important work outside of Reno and Las Vegas. This initiative is about helping those organizations grow and thrive.”

Selected groups will receive customized marketing services ranging from public relations and social media support to advertising and event promotion. Past recipients have included Eddy House, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada, and the Food Bank of Northern Nevada—proof that the agency isn’t just talking the talk.

The application process asks organizations to describe their mission, their measurable community impact, and how professional marketing could elevate their work.

“This program is one of the ways we walk the walk as a B Corp,” said Alexis Keith, Public Relations Account Director at the agency. “We’ve worked with groups tackling hunger, homelessness, education, and more. We’re excited to bring those same resources to rural Nevada.”

Groups interested in applying can visit theabbiagency.com and click on the “Do Good Stuff” link. If you’re running a nonprofit in rural Nevada—or know someone who is—this could be the boost they need to tell their story and expand their impact.
